A creamy Middle Eastern milk pudding for any cold night!

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups of milk*
  2. 2 tsp of sugar
  3. 1 tsp of rose water**
  4. 1 tbsp of arrow root starch***
Instructions
  1. Boil cup of milk* in a pot.
  2. Add 2 tsp of sugar to the pot.
  3. Add tsp of rose water**
  4. Add 1 tbsp of arrow root starch*** to a 2nd cup of milk and whisk well.
  5. Add this 2nd cup of milk to the pot the moment the 1st cup boils and turn off the stove immediately.
  6. Pour into mugs and garnish.****
Notes
  1. * May use dairy or non-dairy milk.
  2. ** Adding rose water is optional.
  3. *** Corn starch may be used instead of arrow root starch.
  4. **** I garnish my Sahlab with coconut, cinnamon, and pecans.
